things that i am currently enjoying
1.  horseradish sauce at the Q
     i have recently found love in this sauce

2. AM talk radio
     music bores me while driving.

3.  online shopping
     i havent gone shopping in forever so i like to pretend that im rich and can afford 300 things in my shopping cart

4.  family news
    my cousin was pregnant with her second child and recently found out it was twins!! yay~

5.  enviga drink
     the new nestea green tea drink thats supposed to help with your metabolism

6.  anticipation of summer movies AND summer books (ie. the final harry potter)

things that are currently annoying

1.  mainstream liberal media.

2.  my allergies. (i recently had a food allergy alongside the stuffed up nose pollen allergy)

3.  kaiser permanente
     i got insurance and chose kaiser.  they are seriously annoying and pointless in helping.  i called in to schedule
    an appointment and they informed me the next available time is JUNE 20th!!! what the freak!

4.  tmobile
    theyre service sucks.  plain and simple.

K.LA Boutique.
never go there.

i was at forum on peachtree parkway to do some shopping.
i have never gone into this K.LA Boutique store but always meant to.
i happened to park right in front of there on friday
and a cute bag caught my eye so i decided to venture in.

i walked into the store and first thing i realized is that its a really small store
the owner (and the only salesperson) was at her computer
and barely looked up when i walked in
after two whole minutes, she glanced at me as if to say.. "what?"
to be friendly and giving her the benefit of the doubt (because she looked preoccupied)
i mentioned casually that i was looking to buy some accessories
to which she just nodded.

btw..im an asian woman. young, like high school looking. and i was wearing jeans and a sweater.
five whole minutes later (no dialogue exchanged)
an older, white woman walked in.
the salesperson dropped what she was doing, walked over to her, and greeted her enthusiastically
"hi. my name is ..  is there anything i can help you with?  oh that shirt youre holding is really cute.  would you like to see another one in a different color?"

tad bit angry at the blatant discrimination, i stood by another rack, rummaging.
the saleslady reached over me and picked up the shirt that i was looking at and took it to the other customer.
now even more furious, she undid the curtain for the dressing room and helped her in
i deliberately picked up a shirt and stood in front of an empty dressing room
hoping that she would now help me but again i was totally ignored.

i stood around for another 5 minutes to now test the owner for any service
the other customer was in the dressing room and she would be forced to help me, i thought.
wrong again.
she went back to her computer and started typing away. 
appalled, i even walked slowly out the door hoping that she'll redeem herself with a "come again, thank you."
nothing.

i immediately came home and looked up the number to K.La Boutique.
the saleslady picked up and answered that she was the OWNER!
i chewed her out for a good 10 minutes.
to which she replied with an excuse of
"its a small store.  if you were inside jcrew and a salesperson was helping another customer,
you wouldnt feel discriminated against.  you would just feel that shes helping somebody else.
you only felt offended because its a small store and you can hear every conversation."

her excuse makes absolutely no sense.  i was in the store a good 10 minutes by myself.

never go there.

inconvenient sneezes

i always sneeze during the most inconvenient times.
this morning, i was brushing my teeth at my desk checking mail
and i had to sneeze but couldn't make it back to the sink in time
so inconvenient and embarrassing
like while im in the middle of an important phone call sneeze
while im in the middle of a flute solo during offering song sneeze
and according to some..
my sneeze is very "dapdaphae" bc they think i wont let it out and stop in the middle of it
not true! thats just the way i sneeze!

due to unwanted genes
our lee clan family all has like nose/sinus problems.
several of my relatives (including my dad) actually had to have sinus surgery
and they battle all the time with allergies, slight asthma, bronchitis, etc

i think...i think...that as i get older
the "curse" that i thought i avoided is catching up with me.
i havent been able to properly breathe in like months
U.N.T.I.L
God invented flonaise- this prescription spray thingy that you directly spray into your nostrils.
it sounds gross, and looks gross, and is very pricey for it
but i can FINALLY breathe! yay

so yesterday was V-day.

i received chocolates from my cousin
who is a slight FOB and he thought that vday was a must.

and i received a wilting flower
from a homeless person at work
who immediately demanded that i give him food for his "gift"

i used to be very anti-Vday
like B.I.T.T.E.R anti-vday
but i think as i get older........i really dont care.
lifes too busy to care
does this make me an apathetic? 

my aunts hangap (60th) bday is coming up
while discussing plans..my mom informed me that before she turns 60..
she would like to see me and my bro married
i told her that shes kinda being paranoid...
she has like  8 years left.

yesterday around 7pm
i was driving
on a curvy road (barnwell road)
almost home

when this stupid deer
darted out of the woods and ran in front of my car
i swerved out of control
did an 180 degrees turn
sent the deer flying
burnt the tire and left rubber marks
and almost fell over the curb into the woods.
the deer left my bumper and lights completely smashed.

praise God that there were no cars coming on the other side.
i would have hit it head on if there were.

today...
as i was driving through the most atrocious traffic in downtown
i learned that a car bumped into another car
swerved in front of a school bus (with children on it!)
and ended up smashing into the middle block.
the driver died on impact because of it.

i again praised God from saving me the night before..

as i kept going north on 85
i saw pillars of smoke coming near mercer university
i learned that a terrible huge fire had started in an apt complex that im all too familiar with
a whole bunch of ppl from my church live there
along with several close friends and my jundosahneems.
thankfully, everybody was able to get out okay and no deaths were reported
however i learned thru the news that 14-20 units were completely destroyed.

im still praising God for giving me so many things to be thankful for..

please pray for the car accident victim's families.
please pray for all the families that were left homeless because of the fire.
